Can hear the sound in real-time monitoring, but can’t hear the sound when playback video, why?
Answer:

Main menu-Setup-Record, enable the Audio of the channels.


Log in IE browser to view video, but no image:
Answer:

Please ensure that you Install ActiveX controls and enable all of ActiveX selections and download the Active X in the controlling interface OK, please refresh the website to log in, for detailed operation,please contact tech-support or check the video on website.


Backup files by USB drive, no any tips to connect the USB drive successfully.
Answer:

1. Format the USB drive to be the FAT32 form firstly, then to do backup, if still the same case, please try to change another USB drive to test( recommend use good brand USB drive ).
2. Please remove the mouse from the front panel of DVR, when you plug your USB drive to backup.


Email setting issue
Answer:

1. Check the send email and receive email whether are right in writing ( address, password)
2. Check the SMTP of the Send email whether is right or not.
3. Check the SMTP server whether is right or not.
4. Please follow up below SMTP server and send address to setup:
Smtp server : smtp.qiye.163.com
Port:  465
SSL: click √
send address: support@loocam.com
password: Ansjer888
Receive address:  (one of your effective email address OK).

How to format hard drive?
Answer:

1. Main menu-Disk management-enable the Disk ID-format 
2. Doesn't support External USB hard drive, use SATA interface HD
3. Ensure the capacity and brand can support the DVR 

View images are in black and white no matter day and night.
Answer:

1. Check the DVR Main menu--Set up--Basic--Video Format (ensure here is the same as camera Signal system)
2. Check whether the IR night lights show on in bright lights place, if yes, 
the light board of the camera get problem.


Real-time image issue: distortion or flickering image
Answer:

1.Check the VGA/HDMI cable connection on the monitor or the DVR, or change a new VGA/HDMI cable to test.
2.The setting of color and brightness for the DVR is wrong. 
3.if still the same problem, Please open the DVR cover to check the cable of VGA interface whether it is in good connection or not.

Can not View on the TV?
Answer:

1.Power offer the DVR, remove cover to check the front panel cable connection whether it is loose.
2.Ensure BNC output connect with DVR Video out interface, instead of Audio out interface.
Note: 
(1) VGA connection: Switch to the”VGA input”on your monitor.
(2) HDMI connection: Switch to the”HDMI input”on your HD TV monitor.

when Playback video the DVR freeze or dead on
Answer:

1.Power off DVR, then remove the cover to reconnect hard drive 
2. Check the operating temperature 
3. Check the surrounding whether have Strong electric shock video cables.
4. Check the firmware version do a upgrade firmware to test

Upgrade DVR firmware fail
Answer:

1.DVR can’t recognize/read the USB drive, kindly suggest change another USB drive to try( recommend use good brand USB drive ).
2.Please remove the mouse from the front panel of DVR (some model), when you plug your USB drive to upgrading.
3.Check the upgrade file is compatible for the DVR model and saved in the root directory of your USB drive.

Turn on power,No signal or black on the screen
Answer:

1.Check the VGA or HDMI output interface connection, choose the right input signal on your monitor.
2.Change another monitor with the needed resolution.
3.If no extra usable monitor, do a upgrade firmware for DVR.


When view the remotely by IE browser, the Active-x control can’t be downloaded, why?
Answer:

1.Please confirm that your computer has connected network well;
2.Check if the IE browser security level was setup OK;
